Delivered on time, included oil, some assembly required. Bolts for handles are soft/low quality, so had to replace one that when overtightened, broke, with a hardened bolt. Other than that, this generator starts right up with no hesitation. Instructions funny–translated from Chinese. Missing info: You need to turn on the generator switch, in addition to opening the fuel line and choke to start. Otherwise, pull and pull and pull and nothing will happen. Provides wattage advertised. Check with multimeter since it does not have a meter on the unit. Got the generator before all the hurricanes, at a great price.

ITEM RECEIVED NOR AN EXCHANGE FOR IT. 30 DAYS IS TO LONG WHEN I REPORTED
IT THE DAY OF ARRIVAL.

Lots of problems with the delivery – ended up taking 3 weeks to get the product. Once I finally got it, it was great. Wheel kit was easy to install. Works well and I would recommend it to others.

This product is deceptive in it’s advertisement. Amazon would not even respond to my inquiries about this item. It is advertised as a 13 hp model and it is not it is 11 hp I guess Poor customer service very poor I called before I bought this item because of other feed back and the rep told me that it was indeed a 13 hp model. Well it is not as advertised buyer beware. As far as I’m concerned it is wrong and deceptive advertisement. Steve

I purchased this generator a couple of weeks ago. It was delivered 1 day early on 8/28/2008 three days before hurricane Gustov passed 60 miles to my west. Our power went down for 53 hours. This generator performed flawlessly for 53 hours of continuous use. I never shut it off. It powered my well,refrigerator,freezer,TV and really everything but my air conditioner.It is quite fuel efficient and moderately quiet. I would definately recommend it to anyone.This is a solid heavy duty unit and I am confident I made the right choice.

Nice portable generator for the money. Will carry the load and fairly quiet in operation. Main Capacitor went out after about 40 hours of operation however, when replaced, it ran very well.

Very nice little unit, though used very little thus far. Now that I have a generator, we’ll probably never have another power outage
The only con I’ve seen thus far is that it floods easily. Choke it for one pull only (maybe two if it’s REALLY cold). Otherwise it starts easily on the first or second pull.
Note that the picture Amazon is showing depicts a slightly more expensive model, with the side-mounted control panel. The one I received is the basic model, with the plugs right in the end of the generator, and no AC power switches. Just fine for my purposes, and the price was better than I’ve seen anywhere else.

i called in my order so i could check on how long it would take to recieve the generator. the lady said they had it in stock at amazon and it would be only a couple of days because i live in seattle. they just sent me a email today april 30, 2008 saying it will not be here till may 9, 2008. the power is going to be shut off by the power company for the next week , just what i told the amazon lady!!!! i could of called McCulloch in lake havasu city, az. and had it here in three days. and i would of had to pay shipping but not the sales tax that amazon charged me! amazon is in it just for the money do not believe them.
