4 Stars Sportsman generator
Great value for the money. The only downside is that considering its weight, it really needs a wheel kit. This was for my husband. He is adding wheels, but would have preferred to just buy a kit.

I bought this Generator due to its’ Prime status and still have not recieved it 8 days after purchase. I thought prime meant 2 day free shipping. If that is not the case, a little notice would be nice. I hope it works.

3 Stars Good unit so far
I purchased this in May 07..Started right up,worked like it should when testing it with a vacuum and such.Stuck it in the shed until about Oct 07 and noticed the fuel gauge sorta melted and is unreadable.Havent used it much so I dont have much to say about it.

The generator is everything it was advertised to be. There is no problem with that part. The problem is the booklet that comes with the generator. It keeps the generator from getting 5 stars. It’s obvious that it is poorly translated from another language. The booklet states to fill the oil reservoir with oil before starting. There is nothing telling me what type or weight oil to use. There is a service number to call but it is hard to get help. Otherwise this is a good product for emergent use. Overall, an excellent buy. You DO get your moneys worth.
