The cleaner does a number of small jobs well.
Does not do the larger jobs it claims to do.
There are many cheaper cleaners, and we paid more for this one thinking it would be more powerful (based on the wattage).
It’s not a complete disappointment, but it’s not that great either.

Seems to work puts out alot of steam . Havent really used it much bought to clean harley motor. Winter here have to wait 4 spring

SteamFast SF-475 SteamMax Garment-Plus Fabric Steamer
This is by far the best steamer I have used. I had a Conair that worked for about 6 months and then leaked on everything. This SteamFast does a fantastic job in removing wrinkles, is fast, and does not leak at all. It even works well on silk. I have no problem in highly recommending it.
1 Star Not Powerful – Cumbersome to use
This product is much larger and heavier that other products in the same category. It takes far too long to heat up and once it does, does not produce enough steam to effectively press the clothes. The water tank is fixed and difficult to fill, much less clean at a later date. We bought this for our second home and went back to a model that was more portable, stronger and had a removable water receptacle for ease of filling and cleaning.
5 Stars Great Professional Garment Steamer
The Steam Fast SF-475 Steam Max Garment Plus Steamer quality is that of a professional steamer at an affordable price. I have a busy lifestyle and would be lost without my Steam Fast steamer. It saves me hours of iroining and is the best steamer I have owned for removing wrinkles from delicate to permanent press garments. I’ve used it on my clothes, linens, upholstery, and curtains and have always been very satisfied with the results.
I believe that the reviewer who left negative feedback concerning the steamer filled it with too much water or didn’t follow the manufacturers instructions properly.
You will love using this product.

4 Stars Powerful and versatile
I initialy bought this steamer to steam clothes, which it does a nice job of. Be careful to keep the hose elevated when building up steam or it is liable to spray hot water out of the head end. But included with the unit was an offer for an accessory kit that lets you use it to steam clean everything from rugs to windows to countertops. I find that I use the steamer more often for these purposes (steam cleaning windows is really easy) than for getting wrinkles out of clothes. All in all it is a very versatile tool.
1 Star Very poor steamer
I have only tried to use this steamer four times. It does not produce steam. It does spray hot water everywhere. I had to be extremely careful each time I used it, because I was burned on the arm just trying to get the steamer head over to the sink. I followed the manufacturer’s instructions very carefully. I was afraid to put the maximum amount of distilled water into the steamer reservoir, because of my experience with using lesser amounts the instructions said you could use. The compay that makes this product will not refund my money, they will only try to repair it. I don’t think it is properly designed to do what the company claims. Therefore, I don’t think repairing it will solve many of it’s problems that I haven’t even mentioned.

4 Stars Not Bad!
I am quite impressed with this steamer. It does the job, but I would not recommend it for heavy duty cleaning/steaming. By the way the so called in the description “the extra large water tank” it is not so large, unless 11 ounces means “extra large” for you. I purchased this exact steamer and related attachments from CVS for $39.99 and I am pleased with the results I get for the price. However, I would have been very upset to buy this item for $123.99 as advertised by this Amazon seller (Action Packaged Inc.) and see the results I am seeing. Overall I would recommend this to my “obsessed with cleaning” friends, only if you were to pay for it what I paid.

Hard to find but it works and does so many jobs. windows dust mites floors baths tile grout….. just too may and does it well. easy to use and resonably priced. I highly recommend it !!!

The Scunci SS1000 is cheaply constructed of materials that simply caused the unit to fail. Avoid this brand until the quality improves.
5 Stars Can’t praise this steamer enough
First of all I must tell you, I found this mighty steamer at a flea market; in used once condition for $2. From the looks of many reviews I probably bought it from one of you 
Being that I only paid $2 I didn’t have high expectations and figured if it didn’t work I was only out a few bucks. It was the absolute best $2 I ever spent!!! I have used it in every possible cleaning situation I can think of. Works perfect every time. After reading a few reviews I had to post my comments. It sounds like many (not all) of the problems many reviewers are experiencing is of their own doing. Here are a few things that have worked for me….First, let it heat up the full 5 minutes or longer; if it is spitting water it isn’t hot enough. Second, you MUST, MUST empty & rinse this out EVERY time you use it. I also leave the cap off when I store it. If this is used, then put away with even a little leftover water in it, it will plug up on you. Salt is this babies worst enemy. A few extra minutes after each use will save you tons of time & frustration later and will keep you steaming away ; -)
