I purchased the Black & Decker 100 watt laptop Power To Go cordless AC/USB power supply to use to exclusively
power my ipod. I recently went to California on vacation and I wanted to extra run-time power for viewing video’s on my iTouch. I paid fifty dollars for the power supply and discovered that the unit would not run my iTouch for very long. I attempted to recharge the unit several times but each time I got the same results. the power supply will not hold a charge and immediately drops down to zero. i am lucky to get one recharge and
perhaps two hours of run time on my iTouch. this unit supposedly designed to run a laptop computer! I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED with the performance of the product and can not recommend this device. I also notice that the manufacturing date stamped on the device was early 2007 which leads to wonder if the batteries have developed a short chemical memory due to the extended shelve time. I hope this review helps. Save your money and find something that actually works.
1 Star OK, but overrated. Be careful.
Once fully charged (does take nearly a day) it will power a portable DVD player for 2 hours. Player and screen rated use of 27W – well below what product manual states the device can handle (80 W continuous or 100 W for 5 minutes) – disappointed in run time. Have not tried my laptop, but do not expect it to work for long, if at all.

I bought it because my kids use a lot a portable DVD on flights and its battery are not long enough anymore. I bought this black and decker to have a little more DVD life while in the airplane. And it helped just perfect!!! The only thing is that it is a little bit bigger than I thought it would be, but anyway, it is ok!!!

This charger advertises laptop charging capability, but it added less than half an hour to my laptop’s battery life. I’m sure the 9 hour claim is more applicable to cell phones and small gadgets. This product was easy to use and carry (dense but not heavy).
